We at NP Communications know that there are many issues that
have to be addressed when the SEO process begins. For
instance, does the website have any external links pointed
at it? It is said that Google the world’s most
popular search engine will not index a new site unless
it has at least one external link pointed at the site.
SEO is the process of designing, writing and coding
the web pages for the entire website of a Company, so
that everything possible is done to have the Company’s
web pages appear at the top of search engine rankings
when queries for selected keywords and phrases are asked.
A few typical terms used when describing SEO services
include; search engine marketing, search engine positioning,
search engine placement, ranking, registration and submission.
NP Communications begin with an extensive analysis
of the Company’s keywords and phrases to determine
what people are truly using when searching for the types
of products and services offered by the Company. Once
the research is complete and the client approves the
keywords and phrases, we work together to make the site
as “search engine friendly” as possible.
After the ground work is set all the pages must be optimised,
which may include adding additional text to their existing
copy and coding (title tag, meta tags, comment tags,
alt tags, attribute tags etc). Once all this is complete
and approved by the Company client, the site is then
manually submitted to and registered with all of the
major search engines and directories. Submission typically
must include the top 15 search engine/directories, which
account for over 90% of today’s search engine
traffic.
